Without a doubt MASRC and SRC will race plenty in 2011 just not at Sandyhook at this time.

Please everyone go there if you like MASRC just will not be sponsoring any racing at Sandyhook Speedway.

MASRC and SRC along with Stage 6 sponsored team will show at Beaverrun and NJMINI events, plus drag events. There are other tracks we will now contact since we could not work out anything with Sandyhook.

Just hold on for a day or so and the dates we have that we will travel will all be up.

There is under lying facts I am not putting on here that helped MASRC come to cancel Sandyhook.

If you want to go Sandyhook please do so they will have what a Regular show is to them which I do not know what that is and they have two days a month for this, MASRC can not do a race series the same days as their Regular Show, there is not enough time in a day.

Understand there are lots of places SRC will race and you will see MASRC and Stage 6 scooter racing teams putting something you have not seen yet.

Put scooters from Yamaha, Piaggio, Aprillia, Eton, Keeway, Vento and Scootertronics custom built on the track dont miss it.

Sandyhook CANCELED MARCH 19

MASRC Mini Moto Racing Series has been canceled for 2011 season.

With much dissappoint I bring this most regretable news. I could not even come close to an agreement with Sandyhook Speedway to bring a Mini Moto/Scooter Racing Series to Sandyhook which included vendors, scoring, sponors for cash prizes plus Spring and Summer Championship held over two two day events. The racing series was to included all motards, scooters, midbikes and pocketbikes with future moped racing. Three other clubs asked to be involved with us which we will travel to their tracks in 2011.

MASRC along with SRC with still race at NJ Motorsports Park with NJMINI plus Beaverun PA for no less than two dates. Please check back I have started working on another track close by plus 1/8 and 1/10 mile dirt track racing plus we will do several drag racing events.

As far as I know Sandyhook is having a trackday on all the dates tey had offered MASRC.

Mid Atlantic Scooter Racing Commission Racing

at Sandyhook Speedway Spring/Summer 2011 Racing Series

Sandyhook Speedway is located at 3050 Sandy Hook Road, Street, MD 21154
Scooter and Bike racing starts March 19th for Track Day and Practice. MASRC will be looking for everyone to try to make this date so we can get a feel for what bikes and scooters will be racing in 2011. We will run practice all day with invatational races towards end of day.

Gate Fees are 10 dollars Race fees are 60 dollars Food Drinks for purchase will be provided on all race dates plus all day bikes with no cart racing so we have all day to get down on our two wheeled machines.

We do have two Two Day Events one in May and one in July MASRC will travel with our SRC scooter racing to NJMINIGP and Beaverrun PA we welcome everyone to these dates also.

Mod 70 and Street 150 will run together
Bike Classes
Factory 1 All 4T Shifter Bikes up to 125cc

Factory 2 4T Shifter Bikes 125cc to 150cc

MINIGP 50cc two stroke and Up 4T Mod up to 150cc
Pocketbike Class
All races will feature bikes in seperate classes running together scored seperatly according to total amount of bikes on race day

915 Drivers Meeting at this time we will take count of bikes in classes and set up races to amount of bikes and scooters present.

All races will be set up with heats for grid postion qualify.

We will grid and classify all scooters and bikes to experince of riders and speed of bikes. We are looking for any and all input from racers each race date. We are doing our best to provide a safe race day as well as a competitive one for all. Beginers are welcome and seperate track time and races will be set up as needed.

MASRC is a scooter racing club so we welcome any help in running the bike classes and racing. If you have comments or suggestions please let us know.

MASRC will score all races for end of year results and present cash and prizes on all race dates.

Sandyhook Speedway Race Dates

Just a quick note. MASRC will be doing all scooters and motorcycle racing at Sandyhook Speedway with no go carts the day we are racing. These will all be Saturday events with two complete weekends of racing. These will include camping on site plus much much more. There will be scoring for all classes, cash and prizes at every race plus vendors, food and much more. MASRC spent all of 2010 building a following and learning by trail and error in order to put on the best mini moto racing events that we can possibly do. NJMINIGP has asked to join up on at least one date at Sandyhook plus we will travel to Eastern Mini Championship at Beaverun PA plus at least one date in Circleville OH and will race at NJMINI on three dates at this time. MASRC has worked all our dates around NJMINI and OH the very best we can without over lapping on any dates NJMINI Is in NJ.

2011 will be a great year of mini moto and scooter racing in the Mid Atlantic region. SRC has a six man racing team for scooters plus now have a following of about 6 more racers so we are well on our way to agreat racimng season and have not left out any mini moto from pocket bikes to NSRs and all motorcycles below 150cc are welocme.

Dates start march 19th with met and greet track day wew ill use to get people signed up and classes started. We will follow the other tracks for rules and classes and will vary on who shows for each race and score seperate if two classes run together.

MASRC Scooter Racing is gearing up for the 2011 Season

Scooter Mike and Tommy Thunder of the MASRC are currently working on all the new tracks and dates for this years racing season. The 2010 racing season was the biggest and the best so far and we are planning for an even bigger race season this yaer. There will be some new classes added and we will have some scooter only classes also. So get all you scooters, pocket bikes, mid bikes and mopeds ready for a huge year in racing. Please stay tuned for all dates for the 2011 season soon to be posted here on The MASRC site. We are also looking for sponsors to sponsor teams, riders and races this year . We do a lot of promotion for the scooter racing so this would be a great way to get your scooters and products noticed.

Anyone with a scooter shop or power sports shop is encouraged to start a team and bring them out to our races.This is also a great way to promote what you do, so if you have a team already or want to start one this is the place for you in the Mid Atlantic for scooter racing. This year aside from our road racing series we will also be doing some drag racing and some scootercross racing events at some of our track dates and also at some dates with other scooter racing organizations. We are the largest scooter racing org. in the Mid Atlantic region so don’t miss out. Team SRC takes home first, second and third place at Sandyhook Speedway

Team SRC raced at Sandyhook Speedway on Oct. 23rd with the Mid Atlantic Scooter Racing Commission’s Race Day at Sandyhook Speedway sponsored by Scootertronics.com . The team had a great day and brought home 1st ,2nd and 3rd place in both main heats. Team rider Tommy Thunder brought home first in main 1 and main 2. Rob Scholl Sr brought home second in both mains also. Robby Scholl brought home 3rd in main 2 and Andrew Hunt 3rd in main 1.

It was a very close day on the track with battles between teammates as Tommy and Rob Scholl Sr battled for first place in qualifying rounds one and two. Tommy got first in round one and Rob in round two. These two guys were tire to tire in both races. The rest of the field was also very tight, close racing throughout the whole day. Team SRC is sponsored by Scootertronics.com and has grown into a very competitive scooter racing Team. Team owner Scooter Mike of Scootertronics has constantly been adding to the performance of all the team bikes and they seem to have it down to a tee. There are two more race dates left in the season with MASRC at Sandyhook in Nov. So check the schedule and come on out for some scooter racing action.
