Thunder’s Vespa 125

So check it out I got this scooter last year in trade for a 50cc pocket bike worth about $50 bucks to me :o . She was in bad shape when I got her :( but check out what I did to here to bring her back to life. ;) So here is how she started out. So I got busy stripping her down to bare metal , did some body work and primed her for Paint. I than built a small paint booth in the back of our warehouse and began to do the painting . First the white base coat. Then the racing stripes were added. Then I added the numbers 53 “Herbie” I than worked on the back cowls doing them in gloss black Then I semi assembled the scoot before the detail paiting Then I flamed the rear cowls and cleared the entire scooter Then I went over the engine that I will be keeping stock for now. It ran great and only had 6,000 miles on it. Then I reinstalled engine , front forks , ran all new cables , installed new brakes and white wall tires. Sorry the date in the picture is wrong the build was just finished this past summer this pic is from the first ride I took . Turns heads every where I go . I really took a chance with the paint scheme , but it worked when it all came together. More on this scoot later.
